Autopsy meeting of the Prefecture and the Municipality of Sami in regards to the management of the rainwater system of the park.    

Following the agreement accomplished with the Municipality of Sami, an evaluation and a autopsy meeting took place on Tuesday, January the 5th, in order to review the process of technical works at the wind farm on Xerakias site after an invitation sent from RESINVEST and its representative Mr. Karagoules. The participants of this meeting were Mr. Karagoules, a group of officials of the technical department of the Kefalonia region, the Mayor of Sami, Mr Monias, the civil engineer and consultant authorized by the Municipality of Sami, Mr. Kougianos, and the RESINVEST consultant on technical issues, Mr. Andreatos, who is also geologist and former Head of services of the Kefalonia and Ithaca region.

The purpose of the meeting was primarily the evaluation of the process of works by the technical services and the Municipality, the introduction of additional proposals for the construction of hydraulic works, and the unanimous agreement on the process of the countervailing measures in the region. In the context of the optimum construction, the Municipality of Sami in cooperation with the technical consultant Mr. Kougianos, engaged in drafting an additional proposal for the hydraulic works, ensuring that the project will have no negative impact on the ecosystem.
