Kefalonia wind park a Joint Venture with Ameresco Hellas
RESINVEST in collaboration with the American company Ameresco undertook the redesign, the licensing, the infrastructure works and the erection of a Wind Park in Kefalonia for PPCR. Everything was completed within extremely tight timeframe and big challenges.
RESINVEST has undertaken the construction of the relevant infrastructure works and provision of project management services for the supply, transportation, installation and commissioning of the wind farm.
Civil works include the improvement of existing access road, opening of new roads and internal road network, execution of hydraulic works, turbine foundations and control room construction. Electrical Engineering projects include the supply and installation of electromechanical equipment, and the construction of internal and external grid networks.
The project in Kefalonia is expected to be electrified at the beginning of 2021.
The Project includes the installation of 4 x 2.3 MW ENERCON E70 wind turbines and is expected to be electrified at the beginning of 2021.
Infrastructure works include the civil and electrical engineering works, necessary for the transportation, installation and connection of the wind turbines to the grid.
The construction will meet all the criteria and specifications set by PPC RENEWABLES and ENERCON.
