Following an international tender launched by the Municipality of Larissa, the association of companies, led by RESINVEST, “RES INVEST SA – INTRAKAT – GLOBILED Single-member LLC recently signed an agreement of 13.5 million euro in order to upgrade the street lighting system in the Municipality of Larissa within the framework of the energy efficiency planning.
According to the agreement, 15.804 street lights will be replaced by new LED lights and a new “Remote Control System” will be installed in the town of Larissa town and in the municipal units of Giannouli and Kilada. The contractor undertakes the installation and full operation of the project with equity capital, as well as the maintenance of the system for the next 10 years.
Provision of the energy services will be executed through an Energy Saving Performance Contract (ESPC). Therefore, the contractor ensures very high energy savings (75.98%) for the Municipality of Larissa. Furthermore, payment of the contractor is agreed to take place through energy savings that will be brought about by the reduction of the Energy Cost of the Municipality of Larissa.
