RESINVEST SA & SOLIS SA Win TAIPED Tender and Sign Contracts for Renovation and Modernization of Hospital Infrastructure in Greece

Today, RESINVEST SA and SOLIS SA have completed the signing of the agreements for the renovation and modernization projects at eight major hospitals and health centers across the country, following related tenders conducted by TAIPED on behalf of the Ministry of Health. Specifically, the contracts involve the University Hospital of Larissa, the University Hospital of Alexandroupolis, the General Hospital of Amfissa, the General Hospital of Kefalonia, and the Health Centers of Akrata, Megalopolis, and Nafpaktos. These projects are being implemented within the framework of the “Greece 2.0” National Recovery and Resilience Plan, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.

The RESINVEST – SOLIS consortium is responsible for the design and completion of all necessary works for the upgrade, renovation, and modernization of the clinics, laboratories, and infrastructures of these hospitals and health centers. The upgrades specifically include the development of architectural, structural, and electromechanical studies, civil and electrical engineering works, replacement of lighting systems with new LED technology, upgrade of plumbing installations, enhancement of electromechanical equipment, and building infrastructures (walls, floors, ceilings, insulations, roofs, etc.), as well as the renovation of internal layouts aimed at energy saving, functionality improvement, and accessibility.

The contracts were signed on behalf of RESINVEST by CEO Mr. Konstantinos Vasilakos, and on behalf of SOLIS SA, by CEO Mr. Christos Karkantos, and Vice President Mr. Stefanos Liapis. All signing events were attended by state officials including the Minister of Health Mr. Adonis Georgiadis, Deputy Minister of Health Mr. Marios Themistocleous, the General Secretary of Public Health Mrs. Eirini Agapidaki, representatives from the hospitals, and other prominent political and health personalities.

The timeframe for the completion of the construction works varies from 12 to 21 months from the date of signing each contract followed by a 15-month maintenance period.
